Andalas University of Technology Faculty of Agriculture, hereinafter abbreviated as Fateta Unand is the development of the Department of Agricultural Technology Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University, which was established based on:
a. Approval of the Directorate General of Higher Education HOMEPAGES No. 1193/DT/2008 April 25, 2008.
b. Decree of the Development Department to the Faculty of Agricultural Technology Agricultural Technology Rector of Andalas University By Decree No. 943/III/A/UNAND/2008 dated May 15, 2008.
c. Appointment of Acting Dean and Secretary to the Dean by the Rector of Andalas University in Decree No. 985/III/A/UNAND-2008 dated 2 June 2008.
Based on the foregoing, the Senate Fateta Unand through April 23, 2009 meeting decided Unand Fateta birthday falls on every May 15.
Total number of students Fateta today is as much as 773 people consisting of students of the Regular and Regular Student Self with the number of lecturers as many as 42 people. Thus the ratio between lecturers and students is 1: 18
